How to integrate Facebook Messenger Page with Controlhippo?

Steps to follow for Facebook page integration

Step 1: Log in to the ControlHippo account.

Step 2: Click the "Channel Page" button, from the side menu. 

Step 3: Now click on the "connect" button on the messenger card.

Step 4: Click on the "Connect with Facebook" button. It will open a Facebook login window where you need to enter your Facebook account credentials which have your Facebook page is associated.

Step 5:  After Login, grant the permission to controlhippo to access the pages of your account by clicking on the connect button.

Step 6: Now you will see a drop-down showing the Page list associated with your FB account. Select the page that you want to integrate with ControlHippo.

Note: ControlHippo integrates with both Business and Standard FB pages.

Step 7: Now Click on the "connect" button. And your page gets integrated with controlhippo.

Step 8: Now whatever message is received on that FB page, will be displayed in ControlHippo. The user will be able to revert to those messages from ControlHippo itself.

Note: You will only be able to respond to those chats when there is an incoming message that gets integrated into ControlHippo. Users cannot do outbound messages from Ch if that chat is not already present.

Step 9: Once you receive that chat in controlhippo, open that chat write a message, and send it through ControlHippo.

Note: Due to meta policy the chat will auto close in 24 hrs and you will not able to send a message until you receive the inbound message from that chat.
