How to Create Template in ControlHippo?

Steps to Create Template:


Step 1: Log in to your ControHippo account.

Step 2: Click on the Template option from the side menu bar.



Step 3: A new page will open, click on the "Create Template" button at the top right corner.


Step 4: A new page will open, where you need to enter the following details.

            [NUMBER, CATEGORY, NAME, TEMPLATE FROMAT.]


Step 5: Select the number for which you want to create the Template, the created template will only be shareable to that number's contacts.


Step 6: Select the category in which your template message will fall, we have 3 category options.

             

Utility: Helping with requests, updates on transactions, etc.


Marketing: Promotional or informative updates, as well as invitations for customers to take action.


Authentication: Authenticate users using one-time passcodes, which may be required in a multi-step login.



Step 7: Now give a name to your template through which you will uniquely identify the template from others.



Step 8: Now you need to create a Template body(Message) that you want to share. Here you can create dynamic templates.

Once you have entered the message click on the "Submit" button.



Step 9: Once the Template is submitted it will take 15-20 min to get approved by Meta. You will receive the success message and you can check the status of the template.


Step 10: Once the Template is approved, you send template from the template icon or you can type "/" in the text box area.



Step 11: On sending template the dynamic value will be asked(customer name), you need to add the name and submit.


Step 12: Once you submit the dynamic value the Template message will be shared with chat.
