How to Update the AI Knowledge Base in ControlHippo?

FAQ Document for ControlHippo AI Hub

 

Step 1: Log in to your ControlHippo account.  

Step 2: Connect your preferred communication channel.  

Step 3: Click on AI Hub from the sidebar.  

Step 4: On the AI Hub homepage, you’ll see two options:  

  • Test AI

  • Import

Test AI  

  • Use this feature to test your AI Assistant in a Playground environment.

  • You can ask questions based on the data you've imported into your knowledge base to verify how the AI will respond.

Import  

Clicking Import will give you two sub-options:

  1. Import Article

  2. Import Website

➤ Import Article  

  • Use this to upload files directly into your knowledge base.

  • You’ll be prompted to: A dialog box will open

    • Add Source Name

    • Upload a file (Supported formats: .pdf.doc.docx.txt)

➤ Import Website  

  • Use this to extract data from a website.

  • You’ll be prompted to: A dialog box will open

    • Enter Document Name

    • Add Website URL

  • The AI will extract content from:

    • Import content from the specified website.

    • Automatically extract data from the main domain as well as any linked pages within that domain.

 

Step 5: After importing, the data training process will begin automatically. You’ll receive a notification once training is complete.  

Step 6: Once notified, go to the chat section to use the AI Assistant.  

Step 7: The AI Chat Assistant will start suggesting answers based on the updated knowledge base.  

Agents can:

  • Edit the suggested responses

  • Or send them directly to the user
