How to Turn ON/OFF Privacy for Channels in ControlHippo
Activating Privacy ensures that your chats remain private by disabling syncing with CRMs. Here’s how to manage privacy for your channels:
Main Function:
Turning on Privacy will keep your chats private by turning off syncing with CRM platforms.
If your CRM is not connected to ControlHippo, your contacts will not sync.
Any new contact created in ControlHippo will sync with your CRM platforms.
Step 1: Log in to the ControlHippo Dashboard.
Step 2: Navigate to the Channels section.
Step 3: Click "Connect" on the channel you want to link.
Step 4: On the channel page, you will find the Privacy Mode tab.
Step 5: You can turn Privacy Mode ON/OFF as needed.
Step 6: When Privacy Mode is ON:
Previous chats will not be visible.
If the CRM is not connected to ControlHippo, your contacts will not sync.
New contacts created in ControlHippo will sync with your CRM platforms.
