How to add credits to send templates in whatsapp business API channel

In the WhatsApp Business API, credits are the currency used to pay for sending messages, particularly template messages, to customers. Managing these credits ensures uninterrupted communication with your audience.


Importance of Credits:

  • Message Delivery: Sufficient credits are required to initiate and send template messages to customers.

  • Campaign Continuity: Adequate credit balances ensure that marketing campaigns and customer communications proceed without interruption.

Consequences of Insufficient Credits:

  • Message Suspension: When your credit balance is depleted, the ability to send template messages is halted until additional credits are purchased.

  • Service Disruption: Running out of credits can disrupt customer engagement and potentially impact business operations.

Step1:  Login to the Controlhippo dashboard:  https://dashboard.controlhippo.co


Step 2: Step 2: Navigate to the Settings option from the menu.





Step 3: Navigate to the Workplace settings and then to the plan and billing section: 





Step 4:  You need to go to the Messaging Credits section as shown below:



Step 5: Click the arrow below to add credits as needed.
