How are chats assigned by default?
When a customer sends you a message on WhatsApp, it is unassigned by default and may be assigned to any team member on the workspace.
However, if an agent replies to the customer, the chat will be automatically assigned to that team member. If required, you can reassign it to someone else.
Here’s how you can assign/re-assign a chat.
Step 1: Open the chat you want to assign.
Step 2: Click on the “i” button in the top right corner.
Step 3: Click on the box beside “Assign To” and choose the person from the list. The selected user will receive both in-app notifications and an email.
You can unassign a chat from the same drop-down menu.
How are chats assigned in the Application?
Here’s how you can assign/re-assign a chat.
Step 1: Open the chat you want to assign. & Click on the “i” button in the top right corner.
Step 2: Now you are able to assign the chat to any person.
